Taken from The Eco Gypsy website, this house featured is actually made up of Bamboo and we all know that this type of wood is flexibly strong and sturdy, and can withstand great storms. Also, this house is perfect for intimacy since it absorbs the cool fresh breeze of air. No need of the conventional air-conditioning, just a mosquito net covered bed, then you’re good to go.

Last time we mentioned about the issue on waste management and proper trash disposal. In many beaches in Bali they have this kind of problem. But it’s not only in the beaches. It’s also in the fields and other parts of Bali. In this one instagram photo it shows how people still don’t know the proper way of disposing trash. Click this link to see photo.

And in relation to that picture, we also mentioned about how there was a petition to eliminate plastic bags in the island. Well, the petition is almost done, needing to reach 50 thousand people, it has now ballooned to 46,000+ and rising. Hopefully, people will be aware of this post and we also encourage each and everyone to vote on this petition. To sign in favor of the petition, click this link and sign in your email address and be a part of something wonderful and helpful to the environment. It’s one step closer to achieving a clean, green and healthful ecology.

Nature really needs to be dealt with. The trash problem is a very serious threat. Now, the weather is also gradually changing rapidly for the worse. Climate change is the biggest issue facing the Asian countries today, besides poverty. Climate change happens where the weather is hotter than it should be and colder than it should be, that is, abnormal. When its hot, it’s really hot and it will cause the polar caps to melt causing a rise in sea levels. This rise of water will direly affect islands in the world. Bali is of course an island with many beach coasts. The island will be greatly affected by the rise in seawater levels and soon will wipe out some of the islands in the world due to erosion, submersion and increasing tidal threat. This is a serious matter. And in an article by bali-news-views, what are the people doing about it? Nothing. Instead, more hotels, houses and other structures are being built. Dangerous is the best word to bring out in the news so that people will actually do something and not just let it pass by as something not important. Remember Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines? Well it was an island off the coast. Up to now the body count of dead people is still growing already in the 6000+. We don’t want such thing to repeat in another part of the world. What is the government actually doing about this since this is a pressing matter? We have yet to hear from them. Hopefully, you can help by spreading this article by sharing it on your Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or other sites that you may share it. Here is the complete article just click the title “Bali just exited one of the warmest years ever recorded since official measurements began in 1880.”

Let us all help each other make a clean Bali. This will affect not just Bali, but the rest of the world.
